About us

Read the name twice.

SaaS is the industry we serve. Prospecting is the craft. We chose the word for its older meaning too: walking unfamiliar ground and looking for what is worth digging up.

Who we work with

Companies that grew the honest way.

We work with established software companies that built their business on reputation and relationships, and have reached the edge of their network. The product is good. Buyers like it once they find it. The trouble is the finding.

These companies usually have a sales team that closes well and a pipeline that depends on who already knows them. They are not looking for more noise. They want a way to be found by the right people, on purpose, that keeps working after the consultants leave.

What we believe

A public record is part of the sales team.

Search has changed shape. Buyers ask assistants for a shortlist and start their reading there. What those assistants know about you comes from what you, and others, have put in the open.

Outreach earns attention only when it is about the reader. That takes research and judgment, which is why a person reads every message we write before it goes out.

Good growth work should end with the client owning it. We would rather leave behind a machine you run than a dependency you pay for.

How we are built

One point of contact, start to finish.

We are a small consultancy, and we keep it that way. You deal with one point of contact who answers for the whole engagement. We do the research, the writing and the running ourselves, and when a channel needs a specialist we bring that help in under our standards and our name. You never manage a crowd of vendors.
